My last cappuccino today. Sob! Starting from tomorrow I will voluntarily follow a diet<\/strong> for the first time in my life. I’ve had the book The Blood Type Diet<\/em> by Peter D’Adamo<\/strong> at\u00a0home for years and I recognize everything it says from my own experience. I’ve been quite tired for\u00a0a long time now and I’m planning\u00a0to follow this diet strictly. With my blood type O I will have to stick to a diet of mainly fruit, vegetables and small servings of organic meat<\/strong>. A huge challenge because I can’t have\u00a0coffee, wheat, milk and yogurt.<\/p>\n

Blood type diet<\/h3>\n

\"BloedgroepdieetThe blood type diet is a way of life<\/strong> designed to stay as healthy as possible<\/strong>.\u00a0D’Adamo also suggests rules for exercise and supplements. Peter D’Adamo’s father was a doctor who recognized the same ailments from\u00a0people with the same blood type. He started to map his findings and has created\u00a0lists of food that works as a medicine, food\u00a0that is neutral and food\u00a0that works ‘against’ you, meaning that it’s hard to digest.\u00a0Peter D’Adamo has continued his father’s work and wrote\u00a0a book<\/a>\u00a0about it.<\/p>\n

Blood type origin<\/h3>\n

According to Dr. D’Adamo the different blood types\u00a0genetically stem from different ancestors. Thus, blood type\u00a0O comes from the hunters of yesteryear. Blood type\u00a0A\u00a0comes\u00a0from the farm workers; blood type\u00a0B from the nomads; blood type AB is the ‘youngest’ blood type and is a merge\u00a0between A and B.<\/p>\n
