Central and local

Opposite Amsterdam Central Station there is this fun, crazy dinner spot. Eatery Dwaze Zaken (Silly Affairs). Here you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. They work with four pillars they find important: vegetarian, organic, fair and local produce. Dwaze Zaken also has a spacious and beautiful terrace where you can relax when the weather is nice and sunny.

Something new

Eatery Dwaze Zaken, right in the centre of Amsterdam, is distinguished by honest food and drinks for a nice price. The interior of the eatery has an artfully and warm character. The menu offers many vegetarian options, but there is also enough choice for the meat lover. For breakfast and lunch there is sourdough bread and other novelties like ‘roasted garlic’ and ‘Skipjack-homemade tuna salad’. Nice! I’m always up for something new and different!

Special beers

There is a wide variety of beer. On tap there is for example: Ur-Hop Gulpener (100% organic beer), Chimay blue and Gulpener. But also locally brewed beer such as:

  • IJ Zatte Amsterdams based Bio-Tripel
  • Gaia IPA, Oedipus Amsterdam
  • Green Bullet IPA, Two chefs brewing Amsterdam

Mad Mondays

Dwaze zakenOn Mondays there are the so-called ‘mad Mondays’. You can eat for € 7 what the kitchen is making that evening and there is live music, created by emerging singer songwriters and new bands. Fun for a drizzly Monday evening, if there aren’t so many other things to do in the city. The data are announced on their facebookpage. If you are a singer songwriter and you want a good spot to perform, you can sign up via this Facebook page. That makes Dwaze Zaken also a bit of a concert hall.

Opening Hours

Dwaze Zaken is open from Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 00:00 and Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. To make reservations for breakfast, lunch or dinner you can call + 31 20 612 41 75 or email eten@dwazezaken.nl.
