Store, studio and café in one
I don’t have children of my own and that’s why I’d like to be informed about nice shops for kids in Amsterdam. My client Eline has a young daughter and gave me a great tip. De Kleine Parade, a concept store located in De Pijp.
The store
Owner Merel has founded De Kleine Parade and finds it important that clothes are sustainable and can be passed on from child to child. That is why her collection consists of sustainable, affordable brands for kids. De Kleine Parade sells children’s clothes by brands such as Petit Bateau, Imps&Elfs, Kidscase, Picnik Barcelona, Frankey-s, Mio & co. and Little Indians.
De Kleine Parade also sells girls’ magazine Lieve, with delicious recipes, beautiful stories and great pottering ideas! New head bands by Manjewellstore are sold here as well. Occasionally children’s concerts are organized. Keep an eye on the De Kleine Parade Facebook page for all their activities!
Children’s parties
You don’t feel like organizing your child’s birthday at home and be left with the mess afterwards? In the beautiful studio you can organize children’s parties with all kinds of creative activities; it’s a perfect place for a party. They (already) organize paint parties, nail-polish parties or handicraft parties. They’re all great and creative activities for kids!
De kleine horeca (The little cafe)
And what comes in handy: there is a cafe in De Kleine Parade. Here you can catch up with your friends (with or without the kids). While the kids entertain themselves in the playground, you enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch. Obviously made with local products. And the atmosphere is amazing!
