Cold pressed juice bar
Amsterdam is full of nice healthy hotspots and Roots is one of them! A cold pressed juice bar & healthy take away with first only a location on the Amstelveenseweg in Amsterdam Zuid. Now, however, they can also be found in the center of the city and we don’t have to cycling that far anymore. Although personally, for Roots I love to cycle around the block.
Roots is all about healthy juices, healthy food and fine products. Using a slow juicer, the juices are made from organic fruits and vegetables. By very slowly (and cold) squeezing the maximum amount of juice from the fruits and vegetables is extracted. But also the vitamins and minerals are better preserved in this way. On the menu you will find further smoothies, shots and coconut water, fresh from the coconut.
ROOTS stands for balance in your life. Pure and organic foods witch make you feel vital. Back to your base. By taking good care for yourself and your body and be aware of food and exercise.
Feel like something to eat?
Roots restaurant serves dishes made with healthy pure, organic, local and seasonal ingredients. For example, breakfast with an acai bowl or overnight oat. Lunch with a Roots bowl, a corn buckwheat flour wrap or a delicious beet burger. Or indulge yourself with a piece of banana bread.
Good to know: all products are sugar-free and without any additives. They also have various lactose-free, gluten-free and vegan options. Anyone here who isn’t happy with this? Then I have to tell you one thing more: the packaging they use are biodegradable and they serve the juices in glass so that they can be recycled.
