Salad bar and take-away
As a resident of Amsterdam West I am totally happy to have a healthy hotspot around the corner. Particularly Salad & the City, a salad bar and take-away. A sandwich or some toast for lunch don’t make me happy and that is why you can find me quite regularly at the Bilderdijkstraat, where Mirjam and Judit compose delicious and obviously healthy salads. Salads that are well-filled, surprising and tasty.
What’s on the menu? An avocado salad with aged cheese cookies for example, a red cabbage and apple salad with smoked chicken and an Eastern salad with prawns. Salads that taste delicious with sourdough bread and spicy homemade hummus. Especially order the crunchy veggie mix with spicy hummus: a perfect snack!
