We heard something about PuurFair and only the name already caught our curiosity. In short we did some research and were not disappointed. PuurFair seems to be the national fair for sustainable inspiration. From organic food to electric transport. It turns out to be and the second edition and will take place on 18 September 2016 in the Zuiveringshal West at the Westergasterrein in Amsterdam. Make a note in your agenda!
According to the site of PuurFair they want to inspire as many people as possible to live from now on a more sustainable life. Therefore, PuurFair brings products, services and trends to the attention that help you. To eat and live healthier, to treat the earth, water, energy wiser, to save money, to reduce or re-use waste.
On the fair you can visit six theme squares: living, energy, nutrition, lifestyle, crowdfunding and free time. On these squares you can find about 65 stands and it must be said the offer is very wide. Here are a few examples of what you may expect: fair trade items, vegetable cheese, insulation advice and healthy sweets. Check the full offer.
Lectures and workshops
In addition to the stands there are lectures and workshops. PuurFair wants to encourage sustainable choices. For example, waste is one of the topics. What is done with it and how can you produce less waste. A further small selection from the program: an edible plant walk, an baristo contest with fair trade coffee or learn about natural cosmetics.
Don’t hesitate to take your children, because there is a special baby and children’s square. For example, they can make their own happy balls. Happy what …?
