Weleda nourishes and pampers

Since years I am a big Weleda fan. Although it is a bit expensive for a calvinist like me, I think the products are much better than non-organic skincare products. For years I have been using the Wild Rose oil and bodylotion and various Weleda shower creams. But since I did my first mild detox last year, I only use organic body care products.

Pure stuff

It really makes a difference to wash your hair with Weleda shampoo, to use the conditioner and deodorant, but also to clean your face with pure stuff. My hair is falling much better and I receive more complements about it. My skin is much softer and it really feels much better to use these products compared to the chemical ones. Besides, I like to know which plants and flowers these products contain. The usage of pure ingredients is very noticeable.

My favorite Weleda products are:

o Millet Nourishing Shampoo
o Oat Replenishing Shampoo and Conditioner
o All Body Wash Products
o 2-in-1 Face Wash
o Hand Cream Citrus and Sea Buckthorn

In my job as a Shiatsu therapist I often need to wash my hands, which dries them out quickly. Therefore I use the Skin Food cream, a greasy cream that is perfect for nourishing my hands. The cream is very affordable and you can also use it for your face.

A few years ago I visited Weleda in Zoetermeer. We were taken on a tour around the garden where plants and herbs are grown and I got a picture of a company that works very consciously. Since recently you can undergo a beauty treatment in the middle of the garden.

Look on www.weleda.nl for more info about Weleda and their philosophy. You can get samples in organic supermarkets and pharmacies and try them out yourself!
